Evaluation of MindEd – help make it useful for all who work with children and young people

The MindEd e-portal is a new resource commissioned by the Department of Health. It is intended for all those working with children and young people and aims to provide accessible, engaging online learning about children and young people’s emotional and behavioural development. To see what the e-portal covers please visit https://www.minded.org.uk/

The National Children’s Bureau (NCB) is carrying out evaluation of MindEd to ensure it meets the needs of those who access it. It is important that those who have used MindEd at all now feedback how it works in practice and how it may be improved. This is an opportunity to ensure the effectiveness of e-portal for all those in the children’s workforce, helping to improve mental health outcomes for children and young people.

As well as contributing to its evaluation, there is a real chance to feed into revisions of MindEd to make it as useful as possible for the range of practitioners who may benefit from using it, so all feedback is truly valuable.

We would like to invite all those using MindEd to fill out the evaluation survey online at

We would be very grateful for your help – it is much appreciated. For any queries or further information on the evaluation please contact Amanda Mainey, NCB Research Centre ()
