Family Cooking Competition Winners!!

‘What’s For Tea?’

We are very pleased to announce that 189 children from 16 schools took part in the

‘What's for Tea?’ Family Cooking Challenge.

To take part, children had to cook and eat one of four selected recipes with their families. All the children who took part were entered into a prize draw.

The three individual winning families were from

Meare Village Primary, St Margaret’s C of E Primary (Tintinhull) and Staplegrove C of E Primary (Taunton).

Sampford Arundel and Barwick and Stoford Primary schools

were each awarded a school prize for entering the most children.

Comments from staff:

‘The children who have taken part really enjoyed sharing their experiences and photo stories with us at school.  We hope to take part again if you run the challenge in subsequent years.’ Staplegrove Primary

‘Those who took part did say it was great fun and shared some good comments which we have displayed.’ Ash Primary

‘Our school really loved this competition... I hope you repeat this competition next year.’ Berrow Primary

Many thanks to all the schools and families that took part!
