Hidden Harm in Young People (HHYPE) Programme

HHYPE is a specific group programme for 12-15 year olds in Somerset who are affected by a parent or carer or close family member’s alcohol or drug dependency. The programme aims to provide young people with some respite and relaxation in a positive, fun and supportive environment with other young people in a similar situation, and to build their self esteem and resilience.

There are groups running from July in Taunton/West Somerset and Mendip, and from October in Sedgemoor and South Somerset. HHYPE is completely free to parents/young people as it is fully funded by Somerset Drug and Alcohol Partnership.
