School Nursing leads on the Healthy Child Programme for school aged children and young people giving advice, early stage help and for some, supporting referrals to more specialist services.
We can help children and young people to develop positive behaviours and understanding around a range of health and wellbeing issues as a group or individual, at home, in school or in the community.
We will work with others in public health to promote and prevent ill health so every individual can reach their potential.
School nursing are also part of the team of professionals who deliver local safeguarding arrangements. |
